A veteran Dragons instructor who spent much of her twenties living and teaching in Asia, Courtney is a fundraising consultant, nonfiction author, and writing teacher. From 2005 to 2012, Courtney instructed Dragons programs in China, India, Nepal, and Tibet. She also served as a Dragons Admissions Associate in 2011 and 2012. In 2009 she was Program Coordinator for Emory University’s Tibetan Studies Program in Dharamsala, India. Courtney was a Writing Fellow at Barnard College of Columbia University, where she graduated with a major in Asian Studies. She also lived and studied in Beijing, China for one year. She speaks Mandarin, French, and Tibetan and loves to ski, hike, do yoga, and cook delicious food. Courtney lives with her family in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she teaches monthly Mindful Writing workshops.
